Aimee Lou Wood and her teeth are stealing the spotlight, especially with her standout role in The White Lotus and the British star, 31, couldn’t be happier about all the attention coming her way.
For Aimee, it’s been a heartwarming, full-circle moment. “It feels so lovely. A real full-circle moment after being bullied for my teeth forever. Now people are clapping in an audience,” she said with a smile.
During her appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, Aimee, who plays Chelsea alongside Walton Goggins’ Rick in season 3, jokingly shared her surprise at the reaction. “I can’t believe the impact my teeth are having,” she laughed. “The Americans can’t believe it, but they’re all being so lovely about it!”
She’s even become a trend on social media, Aimee revealed that she’s seen videos of American orthodontists analyzing her teeth. “They dissect my teeth and say what’s wrong with it,” she explained.

“But at the end go, ‘But we don’t think she should change a thing.’ Oh my God, it feels so lovely.”
Host Jonathan Ross chimed in, applauding her for setting her own unique standard.
He joked that fans might start requesting teeth like hers but Aimee quickly shut that idea down with a laugh, saying, “I hope people don’t start filing their teeth so they have gaps.”
Since bursting onto the scene with Netflix’s Sex Education, Aimee has embraced her signature look, even calling herself “rebellious” for skipping veneers.
She’s now receiving hundreds of messages from fans inspired by her confidence. “People going, ‘Oh my god, you’ve got teeth like mine,” she said. “Now I go to school and people think I’m cool because I look like Aimee.’ Instead of it being ‘Bugs Bunny’ or whatever.”
