Man and woman arrested over Tas murder
A 30-year-old man has been charged and is in police custody after allegedly murdering a 22-year-old man in Tasmania.
Jarrod Leigh Turner was shot in the head and left at the side of a highway on April 14.
The alleged killer is due to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
Earlier on Sunday, a 22-year-old woman was charged with failing to report a killing and being an accessory after the fact to Mr Turner's murder.
The pair was arrested in the township of Fingal on Friday night following a search warrant being executed at a residential home.
"Information from the public has been invaluable in this investigation," Detective Inspector Doug Rossiter said in a statement.
"We would like to thank those people who have assisted police thus far."
