Mini-bus stolen from business site at Palmyra
A mini-bus is set to be forensically examined, after being stolen from the Mackay region.
The "wheel-chair assisted" vehicle was reportedly taken from an Abbotts Road business in Palmyra sometime between 1.30pm on Sunday and 9.30am on Monday.
A spokesperson for Queensland Police says an implement was used to force entry.
The mini-bus was found, with some damage in the ignition, at 10.30am Monday in Te Kowai.
"Arrangements have been made for the vehicle to be forensically examined," the spokesperson says.
"Anyone who may have information about the mini-bus or the original offence is encouraged to contact police as soon as possible.
"If you witness any suspicious activity related to vehicles at any time of the day please report the matter to police as soon as possible."
