Qlders over 60 now eligible for Pfizer vaccine
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced Queenslanders over 60 will be able to get the Pfizer vaccine from any of the state-run clinics from this weekend
In a social media post, Ms Palaszczuk says this weekend all Queensland Health hubs will be open and walk-ins are welcome.
“In response to Delta, we’re also launching a super Pfizer weekend over Saturday and Sunday,” she says.
“It is only a matter of time before we have another Delta outbreak,” she says
“So now’s the time for Queenslanders to roll up their sleeves and get the jab.”
Ms Palaszczuk told parliament there were no new community cases and only one overseas case detected in hotel quarantine.
