Officers conduct hundreds of RBTs in Moranbah
North Queensland Police have joined forces to crack down on drink driving and personal safety.
A Queensland Police spokesperson says officers from Moranbah, Dysart, Nebo, Middlemount and Clermont set up two random breath test sites in Moranbah this week.
358 RBTs were conducted on Monday at the sites on Moranbah Access Road.
"Each interaction gave officers the chance to interact with the community and to discuss road safety," the spokesperson says.
"Each driver received take-home information on personal safety ... overall, the officers enjoyed the opportunity to interact with the community and to highlight two important safety messages at the same time."
