A white 2014 Porsche Macan wagon has been stolen from a home in Mount Pleasant.

The vehicle with Queensland registration number KAGS was taken between 3:00PM on Tuesday and 3.30AM on Wednesday.

Entry was gained into the garage at the address and a messy search conducted of the garage itself and the interior of a second parked car, before the Porsche was stolen.

The stolen Porsche was involved in two petrol drive-offs on Wednesday, the first one at a Mount Pleasant service station located on Highway Plaza and the second at a Balberra petrol station at around 4.30AM.

The stolen Porsche was last seen heading in the general direction of Mackay.

Anyone who sights the vehicle is urged to immediately contact police.

Police encourage any resident who witnesses suspicious behaviour to report the matter as soon as possible – at any time of the day.
