Two people have been transported to Mackay Hospital following a serious crash on the Bruce Highway at Bakers Creek.
The two patients in their 50s became trapped in the car after it rolled around 3.45am on Friday, and emergency services had to free them.
A man was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition with head and chest injuries, while a woman was also transported in a stable condition with chest injuries.
The Bruce Highway remained closed in both directions while police assessed the damage to ensure the road was safe, after the crash left a section of guardrail missing.
The road re-opened around 7.00am.
