Paramedics called to stinger and snake incidents in Mackay

Two people have been hospitalised from deadly creatures in our region.

A person was bitten by a snake at an Andergrove home around 12.40pm yesterday.

Then around 2.30pm, a person was stung while swimming a Northwall Beach at Mackay Harbour.

Paramedics have taken both people to Mackay Hospital stable.
