A Gladstone man’s trip to the Sugar City has taken a sour turn.
Members of the public allegedly spotted him acting suspicious on Gordon Street on Wednesday evening.
Police soon caught up with the 31-year-old and say he was attempting to break into cars that were parked in the area.
He has been charged with two offences of attempted unlawful entry of a motor vehicle.
The man’s been released on bail and will appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court on October 24.
