A 55-year-old man has been airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital in a critical condition after a serious truck crash, south of Mackay.
Police say the truck veered off the Bruce Highway at St Lawrence and crashed with a tree at around 7.00am yesterday.
The crash closed the Bruce Highway in both directions for some time, while paramedics worked to free the man who was entrapped.

The RACQ CapRescue helicopter was called to the scene and transported the man to Rockhampton Hospital.
Anyone with information about the crash, or who has dashcam vision, is urged to contact police.
