Police have released footage of a 19-year-old missing for more than a month.
Tea Wright-Finger was last seen on October 16 in Richmond, with CCTV from the Richmond roadhouse showing her final moments before he disappearance.
An extensive search and rescue operation has failed to find any signs of Tea.
Detective Inspector Jason Shepherd says they hope the footage will help the community identify her.
“Footage is very important because it does show a few more mannerisms of the person as the move around and walk,” he says.
“[It] just gives people a better idea of what somebody looks like if they do try to disguise their appearance.”
Tea has links to Bundaberg and was last seen near a blue 2013 Toyota Prado with Queensland registration 210-TLA, that was stolen from Proserpine.
Police believe the vehicle may have something to do with her disappearance.
“She did find out the day before that the owners of the vehicle knew where she was. There was a phone call made to the station from Proserpine, so there is a chance that was the reason for her taking off. That’s just one theory at this stage,” Detective Inspector Jason Shepherd says.
Tea is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cms tall with a medium build and blondish/light brown hair.
Police continue to appeal for anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.
Detective Inspector Jason Shepherd says they are hopeful Tea is just avoiding being found.
“I’m trying to be optimistic, I’m hopeful that she is safe and ok, and just at this stage avoiding being found,” he says.
“But, we definitely need more information from the community, because at this stage all our investigations have sort of come to a dead end.”
