A Mackay region boy has suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car at Andergrove in North Mackay.
The incident happened on Superior Boulevard around 5pm yesterday.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics treated a primary school aged boy with potentially life-threatening chest and arm injuries.

He was rushed to the Mackay Base Hospital.
