A man has been arrested following a five-hour stand-off with police at Beaconsfield.
Several streets were shut down as emergency services responded to reports of a mental health related incident and a man making threats at a Pandanus Street home just after 1pm Tuesday.
An exclusion zone was established encompassing Pandanus Street, Nandina Street and Shiral Drive, but the PSPA has since been revoked.
Residents were told to avoid the area, but according to police there was not threat to the public.
Around 6.30pm the man handed himself over to police and was assessed by paramedics as investigations into the incident continue.
