A local fire ban has been extended, as dry conditions continue in the region.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services has announced a ban will remain in place for the Barcoo, Isaac and Whitsundays Local Government Areas until midnight next Tuesday (November 28).
Under a local fire ban all fires are prohibited, and all permits to light fire are cancelled.
