Well, Channing Tatum has revealed more than he usually does when he takes his shirt off in.. every movie.
(Not that we are complaining)
There will in fact be a third and possibly final Magic Mike movie, set to premiere on HBO Max!
Tatum announced the news via social media that Magic Mike 3 is in the works including a photo of his script with the caption “Well world, looks like Mike Lane’s tapping back in.”

The image also reveals that Steven Soderbergh will also be returning to direct third in the franchise which will be simply titled “Magic Mike’s Last Dance”. Could that be a nod to the recent other “Mike” doco “Michael Jordan: The Last Dance”?
Reid Carolin wrote the first two films “Magic Mike” and “Magic Mike XXL”.
It is yet to be confirmed if co-stars including Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello or even Matthew McConaughey will return.
The films also sparked a number of other success stories such as a stage musical for Broadway and a reality show “Finding Magic Mike” for HBO Max where men learn dance moves to channel their inner Mike and win a spot on the Vegas live show!
It’s yet to be announced how we’ll be watching Magic Mikes Last Dance in Australia, but as soon as we find out we’ll let you know.
